What to expect after your appointment:
YOUR LIPS WILL BE SWOLLEN FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS AFTERWARDS! This is COMPLETELY normal, and you must keep them moisturised at all times.
Do not book your Lip Blush appointment within days of a special event. You will require a few days of downtime following your initial appointment.
You must give a minimum 2-4 weeks of healing time allowance for the lips to go through their dry and scabbing/peeling phase which can happen between day 1-7 after the treatment.
Numbing cream IS applied so the pain is minimal.
END EFFECT: The result will always be different for every individual. It will depend on your skin type, health, hormones and many other different factors. Permanent makeup can last for up to 2 years, but top ups are required to keep them looking fresh. Taking care of your skin’s help is very important if you want your permanent makeup to last.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have previous permanent makeup from another artist, you MUST let me know because you might need to get laser tattoo removal so that I can work efficiently to give you the best healed result with my work. It is difficult to achieve optimal results over old semi-permanent makeup.
Having permanent makeup means it is LOW MAINTENANCE, NOT NO MAINTENANCE. This means you can still put your lipstick/gloss on for nights out or daily life if needed.
If I feel you will benefit from getting sessions of laser tattoo removal on your lips then before getting a treatment with myself then I will suggest during our consultations.
Permanent Make Up Is NOT Recommended For Clients With The Following:
- Pregnant/nursing
- Diabetic (uncontrolled)
- Viral infections/disease
- Epilepsy
- A pace maker / heart problems
- Had an organ transplant
- History of Keloid scarring
- Seborrheic dermatitis
- Skin irritations or Psoriasis near eyebrows/scalp (rashes/sunburn/acne etc.)
- General illness, cold/flu etc (please wait 2 weeks after flu/covid vaccine)
- Currently on antibiotics, you must leave 4 weeks after finishing your course of antibiotics before getting PMU.
Please inform me PRIOR to your appointment if you are on any medications or have EVER had any previous PMU on your lips.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS THAT CAN AFFECT THE RESULT:
1- Hypothyroidism
2- Hyperthyroidism
3- Diabetes mellitus
4- Menopause
5- Lupus Erythematosus
6- Anemia
- All of the above conditions can cause: altered skin barrier function and immune responses.
- Changes in collagen and elastin production
- Poor wound healing and pigment retention
- Increased risk of inflammatory or allergic reactions
If you are on HRT please let me know as this can affect the healed results.
If you have had permanent make up done before, please let me know about it (send me a photo so that we can check if we can fix it because you may need a laser tattoo removal in order to get permanent makeup with me as old pigment CAN affect the result.
Price:
€300 for the first treatment.
€150 for the touch up session 4-8 weeks after initial treatment.
€180 colour boost up to 12 months after the first treatment.
€200 colour boost 12 -18 months after the first treatment.
Anything over 18 months is classed as a fresh set of lip blush.
€50 deposit is needed for any treatment of permanent makeup. If cancelling within 3 days of the appointment the deposit is non-refundable and non transferable.
